Atlas AI Credit Rating
Credit scoring software that rates customers on how they pay you.
The AI Credit Rating scores every account from 1 to 100 using its own history with your company: days to pay against terms, promises kept, disputes, short payments, returned payments. It is re-rated every night, shows the reasons behind the number, and recommends a credit limit beside it.

Reading the rating
Higher is better, and a falling rating is the signal.
This is an internal rating built from your own receivables data. It is not a bureau score or a rating agency's grade, and it is never presented as one.
- 75 and above · Strong
- Pays on or near terms and keeps its word. Supports more credit.
- 50 to 74 · Sound
- Pays, with some drift against terms worth watching.
- 25 to 49 · Watch
- Paying late, breaking promises or disputing more often. Limits are worth a second look.
- Under 25
- Not adequate for credit. A rating below 25 also moves the account to the Collections agent.
- Fewer than three invoices
- A neutral 50, marked low confidence, until there is enough history to rate.
What goes into it
Commercial credit scoring from the record you already have.
Days to pay against terms
How far each payment landed from its due date, weighted toward recent behavior.
Promises kept and broken
Whether the customer paid on the date it gave, every time it gave one.
Disputes and short payments
How often invoices are disputed or paid short, and how they resolved.
Returned payments
Card declines, ACH returns and bounced checks.
Balance trend
A balance growing faster than the customer pays it down.
Your weights
Each company sets its own weights and scale. Nothing crosses between companies.
Every night
AI business credit scoring that learns your customers, carefully.
- 01
Rate
After 2am in your time zone, every account is re-rated by the formula from the day's invoices, payments, promises and disputes.
- 02
Learn
Your own model retrains nightly on your outcomes and your reviewers' adjustments. It is used only once it has 50 labelled cases and beats the formula on held-out ones.
- 03
Propose
The model may propose a change of up to 10 points either way, with its reason, which holds for 30 days.
- 04
Override
An Approver can set a rating with a reason, which holds for 90 days. A person's adjustment counts three times the model's when it learns.
Limits that follow behavior
A recommended credit limit beside every rating.
Credit risk assessment software is only useful if it changes a decision. Atlas recommends a limit from the rating and the account's exposure, and the credit team sees why before it acts.
- Reasons, not a black box
- Each rating lists the factors that moved it, up or down, in plain language.
- Feeds collections
- A rating below 25 is a Collections trigger, so the follow-up changes when the risk does.

What runs without anyone
Atlas does the work. You decide what waits.
The rating runs every night without anyone starting it. Changing what a customer can buy is still a person's call.
Atlas runs on its own. You flag any step for review, and flagged work waits in the Approval Queue for an Approver, Admin or Owner. Charge-off and legal waits for a person on every step.
On its own
- Re-rates every account nightly, with the reasons
- Recommends a credit limit beside each rating
- Moves an account rated under 25 to Collections
- Proposes model adjustments of up to 10 points, with the reason
Waits for a person
- Setting a rating by hand, which needs an Approver and a reason
- Changing a credit limit or terms in the ERP
FAQ
AI Credit Rating, run end to end.
How does Atlas score a business customer's credit?
Atlas rates every account from 1 to 100 using that customer's own payment history with your company: days to pay against terms, promises kept, disputes, short payments, returned payments and balance trend. Higher is better. The rating is rebuilt every night after 2am in your time zone, with the reasons shown and a recommended credit limit beside it.
Is the AI Credit Rating a bureau or agency credit score?
No. The Atlas AI Credit Rating is an internal rating built only from a customer's payment history with your company. It is not a credit bureau score or a rating agency grade, and Atlas never presents it as one. It answers a narrower, more useful question: how this customer actually pays you.
What does Atlas do with a customer that has little history?
An account with fewer than three invoices gets a neutral rating of 50, marked low confidence, until there is enough history to rate it properly. The credit team sees the low-confidence mark wherever the rating appears.
Does the AI credit scoring learn from our own decisions?
Yes. Each company has its own model, retrained nightly on that company's outcomes and its reviewers' adjustments, with a person's adjustment weighted three times the model's. Atlas uses the model only once it has 50 labelled cases and beats the formula on held-out ones. Nothing is shared between companies.
Can our credit team override a rating?
Yes. An Approver can set a rating with a reason, and it holds for 90 days before the nightly rating resumes. The model can also propose a change of up to 10 points either way, with its reason, which holds for 30 days.
How does the rating change what happens to an account?
In Atlas the rating feeds the rest of the work. A rating under 25 is not adequate for credit and moves the account to the Collections agent, and the recommended credit limit shows the credit team where to tighten or extend terms before the next order ships.
