Atlas agents

Agents that work every account, each in its own lane.

Every open account sits with exactly one agent. Triggers move it as its situation changes: a due date passes, a promise is made, a payment returns, a dispute opens. Each agent has its own sequence, channels, tone and contact hours, and does its work on its own.

How accounts move

One account, one agent, moved by what happens.

Agents are the boxes, triggers the arrows. When two triggers fire at once, the agent with the higher priority wins. Paying in full takes the account out of every agent.

Agent 01

Standard follow-up

Get every invoice paid by its due date, politely.

Every account with an invoice coming due starts here. It reminds before the due date, sends the past-due notice with a payment link the day after, nudges the AP contact by text and sends a statement of everything open. Most invoices are paid without going any further.

Collections

Recover overdue balances within terms, firmly.

At 15 days past due, after five touches with no reply, or when the AI Credit Rating falls below 25, the account moves here. It calls the AP lead, sends a firm notice with the full overdue balance, escalates to the controller and offers a plan within the terms you authorize.

Promise to pay

Hold customers to the date they commit to.

A promise, a broken promise, a declined card, a returned ACH or a missed installment brings the account here. Every other channel pauses until the promised date. It confirms amount, date and method in writing, reminds the day before and resets the date if the payment is missed.

Dispute & deductions

Resolve disputes and short payments with the evidence attached.

A dispute or a short payment opens here the same day. It acknowledges the customer, pulls the purchase order, the invoice and the proof of delivery, drafts a credit memo or a rebuttal and sends the resolution.

Agent 05

Charge-off & Legal

Close out balances that will not resolve, on the record.

Unresolved at 90 days, the account comes here. It prepares the final demand, marks the balance for charge-off and packages the statement, invoices and correspondence for your attorney. A person releases every step.

Credit Decision

Recommend one credit decision, with the reasons, for every application.

It works credit applications rather than accounts. It reads what the applicant sends (the W-9, trade references, financial statements, resale certificates), cross-checks each against your credit policy and recommends one decision: the terms, the limit and why. Every step waits for review, and terms reach the ERP once a person approves.

Rules no agent can change

Every agent, custom ones included, works inside the same rules.

Atlas runs on its own. You flag any step for review, and flagged work waits in the Approval Queue for an Approver, Admin or Owner. Charge-off and legal waits for a person on every step.

  1. 01Calls and texts go out only between 8am and 9pm in the customer's time zone, whatever an agent's own hours say.
  2. 02Every call and text says it comes from an AI assistant.
  3. 03Calls are recorded only where the customer has consented; in two-party consent states the call asks first.
  4. 04A text or call goes only to a number with consent on file. STOP, or asking not to be called, ends that channel at once.
  5. 05At most one touch per customer per day, across every agent.

FAQ

Atlas's agents, run end to end.

How does Atlas decide which agent works an account?

Atlas places every open account with exactly one agent. Triggers move it: 15 days past due moves it from Standard follow-up to Collections, a promise moves it to Promise to pay, a dispute to Dispute & deductions, 90 days unresolved to Charge-off & Legal. When two triggers fire at once, the agent with the higher priority wins. Paying in full takes the account out of every agent.

Do Atlas's agents act on their own?

Yes. Atlas's agents send, call and update accounts on their own inside rules no agent can change: calls and texts only between 8am and 9pm in the customer's time zone, consent on file for each channel, at most one touch per customer per day, and an AI disclosure on every call and text. You flag any step for review, and flagged work waits in the Approval Queue. Charge-off & Legal and Credit Decision wait for a person on every step.

Can we change how an Atlas agent works?

Yes. Every agent's sequence, channels, tone, cadence, contact hours, hand-offs and review flags are yours to edit in place. Atlas previews every changed field and every account that would join, leave or be replanned before you save, and each save is a new version with a field-level history. Accounts already in the agent follow the new settings from their next touch and never repeat a step.

What does an Atlas agent know when it writes or calls?

Each step loads the account's whole record: open invoices, payments and credits, promises, disputes, the AI Credit Rating, past messages and calls, and your company's own instructions for that agent. Atlas checks every invoice number and dollar figure in a draft against the record before it goes out, and until a customer is verified it discloses no invoice detail at all.

Can Atlas run agents we design ourselves?

Yes. A company builds its own agent by picking options: template, name, triggers, channels, tone, cadence, contact hours, hand-off, review and priority. A test drive previews every channel before it can be activated, and once active it takes every matching account it outranks. Ferrata also builds agents for a company at deployment.

See Atlas work on your own receivables.

Thirty minutes on your own aging report. You leave with a view of how Atlas would work it, and an honest answer if the sequencing is wrong and you should fix something else first.

Your credit policy, terms, tone and escalation rules are your advantage, and they stay yours. Atlas is configured to the way you run receivables. You are not handing over a playbook or fitting into a template.
