Atlas accounts receivable
AI in accounts receivable that works every account, every day.
Atlas puts AI agents for AR on the whole lifecycle: new customers onboarded, every account rated, payments applied, every balance followed up until it is paid or properly closed. It reads and writes your SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite or Dynamics 365, so the ledger stays the record and nobody rekeys anything.

The lifecycle
Five phases, one record, no hand-offs between tools.
Most receivables teams run each phase in a different place: a credit form in email, a spreadsheet of follow-ups, cash applied by hand. Atlas runs them on one record per customer.
- 01
Origination
Credit applications arrive by email or a link. Atlas reads the documents, fills the application and checks it against your credit policy.
- 02
AI Credit Rating
Every account rated 1 to 100 from its own payment history with you, nightly, with the reasons shown.
- 03
Servicing
Invoices sync from the ERP, statements go out on schedule, payments are matched to invoices and applied.
- 04
Collections
Every open balance sits with one agent that emails, texts and calls on the sequence you set.
- 05
Recovery
Disputes resolved with the evidence attached, payment plans within terms, and charge-off with a complete file.
What changes
From a follow-up list to an agent on every account.
| Run by hand | Run by Atlas | |
|---|---|---|
| Who gets followed up | The largest balances, when someone has time | Every open account, on its own sequence |
| When | Business hours, in batches | Each step due at 10am in the customer's time zone, one touch a day at most |
| Channels | Mostly email | Email, text and voice, inside contact hours |
| Promises and disputes | Tracked in notes or a spreadsheet | Captured on the account, which moves to the agent that handles it |
| Cash application | Remittances keyed in by hand | Payments matched and applied, low-confidence matches held for a person |
How DSO comes down
How to reduce DSO: take the delay out of each step.
DSO reduction is not one lever. It is the sum of small delays: a reminder that went out late, a promise nobody checked, a dispute that sat for two weeks. Atlas closes each of them.
Follow-up on time
Agentic AR follow-up starts before the due date and never skips an account because the team was busy at month end.
Promises held
A promise to pay pauses every other channel, and the agent checks the date the morning it falls due.
Disputes closed faster
The dispute is acknowledged the same day and the purchase order, invoice and proof of delivery are gathered before anyone asks.
Cash applied the same day
A payment that is applied is a balance that stops being chased, and a customer who stops getting the wrong reminder.
One agent per account
An autonomous AR collections agent, with the account moving between agents.
Every customer with an open balance sits with exactly one agent. Triggers move it: 15 days past due takes it from Standard follow-up to Collections; a promise takes it to Promise to pay; paying in full takes it out of every agent.
- Priority wins
- When two triggers fire, the higher-priority agent takes the account.
- Per account
- Sequences run per customer, not per invoice, so nobody gets five emails about five invoices.
- Yours to change

What runs without anyone
Atlas does the work. You decide what waits.
Workflow automation in AR only helps if it actually runs. Atlas does the routine work on its own and holds what you say should wait.
Atlas runs on its own. You flag any step for review, and flagged work waits in the Approval Queue for an Approver, Admin or Owner. Charge-off and legal waits for a person on every step.
On its own
- Sends reminders, notices and statements on each agent's sequence
- Calls and texts inside contact hours, with the AI disclosure on every one
- Moves accounts between agents as triggers fire
- Rates every account nightly and recommends a credit limit
- Matches and applies payments it is confident about
Waits for a person
- Any step you flag for review
- Payment plans over $25,000 and credits over $5,000, by default
- Every credit decision, and every charge-off and legal step
FAQ
Accounts receivable, run end to end.
How does Atlas use AI in accounts receivable?
Atlas runs AI agents across the receivables lifecycle: it reads credit applications, rates every account from its payment history, applies payments, and follows up every open balance by email, text and phone on the sequence the company sets. Each step loads the account's whole record from the ERP, and code checks every invoice number and dollar figure an agent writes before anything is sent.
Can an accounts receivable AI agent work on our existing ERP?
Yes. Atlas connects to SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite and Dynamics 365, reads customers, invoices and payments down, and writes changes back to the ERP first. The ERP stays the system of record; Atlas works on top of it rather than replacing it.
How does Atlas help reduce DSO?
Atlas reduces DSO by removing the delays between steps: every account gets its first reminder before the due date, promises to pay are checked the day they fall due, disputes are acknowledged the same day with the documents gathered, and payments are applied so paid customers stop being chased. How far DSO moves depends on your customers and terms, and Atlas tracks it on the same record it works from.
Does Atlas run on its own, or does someone approve every message?
Atlas runs on its own by default. A company flags any step it wants reviewed, and flagged work waits in the Approval Queue for an Approver, Admin or Owner. Charge-off and legal waits for a person on every step, and every credit decision is reviewed.
What happens when a customer replies, promises to pay or disputes an invoice?
Atlas reads the reply and moves the account to the agent that handles it. A promise moves it to Promise to pay, which pauses every other channel until the date. A dispute or short payment moves it to Dispute & deductions, which acknowledges it the same day and gathers the purchase order, invoice and proof of delivery.
Can we change how Atlas follows up with our customers?
Yes. Each agent's triggers, channels, tone, cadence, contact hours and review flags are the company's to set, and the company can build its own agents by picking options. A change is previewed first, showing every account that would join, leave or be replanned, and is saved as a new version.
